You’re Not Gonna Believe This

But I actually made some progress on some projects over the weekend. I finally, and I mean finally finished a project bag I started over a month ago. I wanted a cute little bag I could put my current project in and then throw in my big work bag. I found a tutorial over at crafster and dug through the stash to find some fabric. I started on it and then I just abandoned it (along about the same time I abandoned everything else too). But, yesterday I decided I’d finish it.

I’m not completely happy with it, but I’ve decided to look at it as a learning experience. I like the overall shape and the fabric, but I’m not happy with the lining. It’s a bit smaller than the bag itself – too small actually. And, this was my first attempt at a button hole and it’s less than perfect. But, whatever. It works for my purposes and I can always make another one. Right?

I also got some quality knitting time in yesterday. I went to a friend’s house to help her turn the heel on her sock and I worked on my Sundara Yarn sweater. It’s coming along nicely.

I love the bag! I think we all tend to be overly critical of our own work.

That bag is so cute. What is the link to the pattern at craftster? If you’d like to share, that is. ;)

Cute bag! And even if it has problems, at least it looks cute on the outside! Yay for the sweater!

Cute bag! Love your progress on the sweater…I am at a standstill for a moment…ran into a little problem. I did make it over that sleeve “hump”!

Watch out – I think your sweater is trying to eat your purse! Or give it some love… hard to say.
